Owner and Lead Stylist Hi, I’m Josselyn, a DMV native raised in Arlington, VA. For as long as I can remember this industry has always been part of my life & I knew from a very young age that this is where I belonged. What began as a passion became a calling, and in 2012 I stepped fully into the beauty industry. Since then, I’ve been committed to learning, growing, and sharpening my craft. This industry has shaped me into who I am today, strong yet soft, intentional, and faith-driven. After more than a decade in this industry, Lumina is finally coming to light shaped by years of growth, faith, and passion, and I’m grateful to now share it. At Lumina & Co, I focus on dimensional lived-in color, blonding, custom vivid looks, and curly hair. I love creating hair that feels soft and seamless, yet bold — hair that makes a statement while staying true to who you are. Lumina & Co. is my dream brought to life, a space born from faith, trust, and the belief that God brings light even in the places we can't see. Genesis 1:3 and Proverbs 3:5-6 remind me that when we trust Him, He leads us into beauty, purpose, and truth and that's exactly what I want every woman who comes here to feel. "Lumina" means light, and that's what I hope to create in every corner of this salon studio. Every detail is intentional. From the way the space feels, to the way I connect with each woman, to the care I put into every service. Here, beauty is not rushed. Conversations matter. The atmosphere is peaceful, the service is personal, and every guest is treated like the queen she is, worthy of care. Lumina & Co. is more than a salon studio. It's a place to pause, relax, feel seen & where your dream hair is brought to life. Cancellation Policy

Your appointment at Lumina & Co is a space created with care and intention. To honor the time reserved exclusively for you, the following policies apply: *Please Note: all services are subject to change based off the length, density, and difficulty of the desired end result. *Please disclose if length, density or texture may require extra time to complete service. *Please do not bring companions or children to a service if they are not receiving a service. Any additional guest that arrives without an appointment will be asked to wait outside of studio, or your service will be rescheduled for a later date and be subject to our late cancel charge. *Cancellation & Reschedule Policy* A courteous reminder text and email will be sent 72 hours in advanced, which you can confirm, cancel or modify appointment services. A 48-hour notice is required to cancel, reschedule, or make changes to your appointment. Cancellations made within 24 hours of your appointment will incur a 50% fee of the service booked. Cancellations made after 24 hours, or a no-show, will be charged 100% of the originally booked service. If you request to modify your service after the 48-hour window, you will still be charged for the original appointment even if the new service takes less time. *Service Modification Policy* To keep the schedule running smoothly: You may switch to another service only if the new service fits within the original appointment duration. For example: If your appointment is booked for 60 minutes, the alternate service must also be 60 minutes or less. If the service you want requires more time than your original booking, it may or may not be accommodated. If you choose a shorter service after the 48-hour deadline, you will still be charged for the full original appointment. *Late Arrival Policy* A 15-minute grace period is given for all appointments. If you arrive after the 15-minute grace period, the remaining time may not be enough to complete your originally scheduled service. In this case: Your appointment may be modified to fit the time left. You will still be charged for the original service, since the full appointment time was reserved specifically for you. A shorter or modified service does not reduce the cost of the originally booked appointment.
